**OKAYAMA Prefecture** - Circular Pet, Co.Ltd, established by Veolia Japan K.K. together with Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd., will build its plant in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture. This announcement was made by Okayama Prefecture on November 19, 2021.

Circular Pet was established with an aim to develop a circular business model whereby used PET bottles are collected and recycled as raw materials for producing PET bottles.

Veolia will continue to promote a circular economy through its waste treatment, water, and energy businesses to materialize a sustainable society.
